Welcome to my web site!

Aloha.  My name is Jeannie Hughes.  I must admit that not all of the information that you will find on this site is up-to-date, but I am working on it.  Come on in and have a taste of my life in paradise.

Be sure to checkout the links below.  Hawaiian Adventure has many pictures taken here on Oahu.  Gospel Station Alumni is still under major construction.  GS Members, supply me with info for these poor lonely pages!

Happy surfing!

Contact Jeannie

In November of 2003, I lost my best friend, Henry "Jay" Hukilani Kea. This loss was sudden and painful. The following link will take you to the website Kevin has started to honor Jay and the calling that God had placed on his life. Jay struggled with many demons both literal and figurative and did not complete the calling he felt that he had. Our God who knows all, however, will continue the mission even though Jay has moved on. This site is dedicated not only to Jay's life, but also to the issues that he struggled with. We hope to update it regularly.

For those of you who do not know, I moved to Hawaii to teach 5th grade in August of 2000.  After working for ALTRES doing temporary work for a number of years, I am back teaching music at Windward Nazarene Academy. Even though I have a source of employement, I still feel like I have yet to answer the eternal question, "What do I want to do when I grow up?"

I have many goals.  My largest, long term goal is to help create a Family Life Center on Oahu (at least one).   In the meantime, I would like to do my best to live impossibly. I want to see the sick healed, the bound delivered, and the dead raised to life.

Hawaii is beautiful! The mountains and the beaches provide me with some much needed perspective! I have enjoyed meeting many new people and seeing a blending of many different cultures.

I'll update this site as often as I remember, so make sure to check back.

I would like to add photos on a regular basis, but I doubt that will happen.  I do have pictures on other pages within this site, however.

Hope you enjoy. Blessings and Aloha!
