Kansas City - Steve, Jay, Woody, Robin and Kelly

By now, all of you that Steve Hunting married Meg Sandbloom (now Meg Hunting). They are still living in the Kansas City area, and are attending Nall Avenue Church of the Nazarene. I have not heard from Steve for a while, but I will share part of what he wrote in his last email.

Steve says that he is still the "high-intensity, anxiety ridden person that I was in college." Steve is a loan officer working at James B. Nutter Mortgage Company on the Plaza. He wanted me to pass on that if you need a house financed, let him know and he will set you up. Steve is also attending University of Kansas Law School. Feels like God may be leading him into politics. Would we know what do to with an honest, Christian politician??? Be praying for Steve as God could really use him to change things here in the good ol' USA.

As of yet, Steve and Meg do not have children. Give them time, one day they will! Steve says that he has filled out a little more while working on the Plaza. About time! Ha, ha! That is all I know for now. Will update you as I get more info. Steve's email address is listed below.

Jay is still in the Kansas City area. He is working for American Century - I think. It is a large financial company. He seems to enjoy the job and it has many rewards. His new car is a 5 speed, which means that I have not been able to drive it, nor wreck it! It is still in good working condition. Jay helped us put puppets together for a children's church that we did last year at Woody's church. Pono is living with Jay again, as Jay has recently rented a house and has a large yard with plenty of room for her to run. Baby went with Kevin to Colorado.

Robin is living in Liberty with one of her college roommates, Courtney. She has upgraded from working at the library to working at Marketability Advertising were she is getting to use some of her artistic ability. This is her 3rd year as youth leader at Excelsior Springs CON. I tried to get more out of her with the response, "I hate talking about myself."

I was priviledged to do a VBS with Robin at the Excelsior Springs church this summer (August 2003) and spend a week with Courtney and her. They live in a great duplex and I would definately consider them to be "movie central." Robin still maintains an active "on line" persona, so feel free to email her and say, "Hi!"
