The Hawaiian language is beautiful, but if you want to get ahold of the heartbeat of the Islands, you look at Pidgin.

Howzit, Brah? Hawaiian Pidgin is a combination of many languages, including English, Hawaiian, Japenese, Chinese, and probably many others. Although Pidgin is not considered an official language, it is how the Islanders communicate with one another. I am trying to learn Pidgin, but let me assure you, I sound silly!
