Okay, so maybe I hiked above the Lighthouse. They tell me that access to the actual lighthouse is limited. I may see if
I can get to it another day.

One of the beautiful scenes near the top of the trail.

Halfway up, this was my view.

Toward the very beginning. They told me there are tidepools down there.

If you follow the road around those mountains, you will come to where I live!

This pictures immedietely above and below are of the hill? we climbed around during our hike. No straight line up for us!

The first 3 pictures on this side were not taken during my hike. When we were finished, I went to my favorite "thinking
spot" and took a few pictures. They are all from the "Blow Hole Lookout."

This is the Blow Hole itself. Not the greatest picture, but you can get the idea.

The sea was very active that day.

Some of the people at church call this Paradise Beach (or was it cove?)and say that there are almost always sea turtles down
there. You have to hike down to the beach. Looks like fun!

I don't know how well you can see them, but the things that look like little lakes are actually tide pools. There were some
people playing in them as we were hiking up. I was told that it was too late in the day to start hiking down. I saw what
they meant. On our way back down, tide was coming in and waves were crashing over that "peaceful little spot."
It pays to listen to people who have been around here for a while! I was told that people occasionally see Monk Seals near
those pools.

Another beautiful scene from about halfway through the hike.

This was the very first picture I took on the hike.

This pic was taken from the highest point of our hike.
